legend in the professional photographic and video tape distribution markets,
passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013. Alan founded Malelo Camera Company in
1950 and developed the business into one of the nation’s leading distributors
for Kodak and Polaroid professional film products. In 1968 he was a trailblazer
and one of the first distributors for pro video tape products, at the time a
new and emerging market. In the 1970's he again took the company forward
and became one of the country's first major distributors of computer diskettes
and media. Today the company continues to thrive providing media-based products
